Zoom storytelling on Monday
An online storytelling session will be streamed via Zoom on Monday next 18 May, in association with Kildare County Council, writes Brian Byrne.
The interactive event will feature storyteller Helena Byrne, who was the guest at a Triple Spiral Storytellers session in An Tearmann in Kilcullen in February 2018. She is a familiar storyteller at venues all around the country, including many libraries. She has also performed at the American Embassy in Dublin.
In addition to telling stories, Helena is regarded as a gifted performer and singer, who uses all her abilities in bringing to life Irish folklore and culture.
The session will begin at 11am and for their children to participate (and themselves), parents simply need to email kildarelibrarybookings@gmail.com with their Zoom account name to register.
