Introduction to Irish Birds Zoom sessions next week
An Introduction to Common Irish Birds will be streamed via Zoom by Kildare Libraries on Wednesday 20 May, writes Brian Byrne.
The event is particularly suitable for children between 3rd and 6th Classes. It will be given by Patrick Hunt, who will discuss what the birds looks like, what they eat, and how they survive in gardens. It looks at ways to encourage them into your school and home garden through planting and feeding stations.
There are two sessions, at 9.30am and 12.30pm, and there will be time after each for questions.
Bookings are necessary. Email kildarelibrarybookings@gmail.com.
