Community Centre cheque for Kilcullen In Bloom
Kilcullen Community Centre made a welcome presentation to KCA's Kilcullen in Bloom Project, writes Noel Clare. The presentation was made in Market Square where volunteers were planting the bed in the centre of the square.
Pictured are Enda O'Neill making a socially distanced presentation of the cheque to Noel Clare along with Ilona Brede, her son Ernest and Martin Sheridan. (Photo by Roxy O'Neill.)
Meanwhile the GoFundMe link is still available for anyone who wishes to Donate any amount — big or small to help with the costs. Lots of donations have also been coming in outside the GoFundMe appeal, with close to an extra €1,000 donated by people on the street who are delighted to see the work being done.
One of those donors today was Tom Landers who has always been one of the first up with his donation each year. Thanks to Tom and everyone else for their generosity. The window boxes will be put up at the beginning of next week.
