Swans and ducks 'don't need feeding'

Two beautiful shots of swans on the Liffey recently, oblivious to Covid-19. They were taken by Frank Mitchell.

However, Frank also noticed some families with children 'feeding' the swans and ducks. This is not a good idea, and can be very dangerous for the birds.

They have plenty of their own naturally occurring food in the river, so enjoy them but please don't feed them.
