Spring flowers in and winter crinkles away

As your Editor can't leave the Sunbury cocoon to see these for myself, I've filched this picture from the Kilcullen Community Action Facebook page to show the annual great display of daffodils at Nicholastown.

Back here, the crinkly copper winter coat of the beech hedge is rapidly shedding in favour of its green spring jacket.

Perhaps more slowly, the coronavirus will fall like the brown leaves and be covered in whatever mulch heap viruses go to.
