Pinkeen Stream in good shape

Those out walking in the area might have noticed how clean Pinkeen Stream is these days, thanks to lots of work over the last year or so by KCA workers, writes Brian Byrne.

There are also lovely wildflowers growing along the bank of the stream, and to encourage them KCA people removed dogwood and willow which had really got out of control.

The cordoned off area above is where grass seed has been put down, to protect the section while it gets a chance to grow.
