Meals for weekend, from Kalbarri and Brown Bear

The feature family meal available on Saturday 4 April from Kilbarri Cookery School is a stir-fry beef with spicy potatoes, tossed green salad with pickled red onion, pizza bread and profiteroles, writes Brian Byrne. The meal will feed five and the cost is €65. A lunch option is Vegetable Soup for four with brown bread for €10.

Collection is available 11 am-2 pm. Parking is in the car park from where you will be directed in car to the yard by a staff member. Open your car boot, the food is placed in the boot while you remain in your car at all times. Cash should be placed in an envelope and left in the boot.

The Brown Bear Restaurant Sunday roast for collection on 5 April is a large Free Range Feighcullen Chicken with Honey Roast Root Vegetables, Duck Fat Potatoes, Thyme and Onion Stuffing, Roast Chicken Gravy and Caesar Salad.

A limited number of orders are available — call 045-883561 to pre order. Collection time will be 2.30pm. The meal should feed 4-6 people and the cost is €60.
