Looking Back: Halverstown Cricket Club
From the Nessa Dunlea archives, here's an undated picture of the Halverstown Cricket Club.
The Club should be in full swing in its 135th year by now, but due to the coronavirus restrictions has to be content with re-running the 1984 season on Twitter.
The Club would love to have a date and any names.
Update 24 April: From Mary Shortt - back row 6th from left E Fenelon, Kilgowan; next to him Jim Doyle. Halverstown; Front row left 2nd Christy Aspell, Old Kilcullen; next to him Charlie Curran, Captain, Halverstown; 5th man PV Boland, solicitor, Newbridge; The last one I think is a Wright from Hacklow.
Beat the Virus: Stay At Home.
