Kildare Libraries to host online exercise sessions

In association with Siel Bleu Ireland, Kildare Libraries are running a series of five weekly online exercise sessions via Zoom, writes Brian Byrne, starting on Tuesday 21 April at 1pm.

No equipment is required and the sessions are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Classes can be taken sitting or standing.

The classes are designed to improve mobility, strength, balance and aerobics.

Siel Bleu is a not for profit organisation which provides life enhancing exercise programmes to older adults and patient groups, aimed at improving overall wellbeing.

The programmes are designed to benefit all adults at any age, and at any stage of their lives. With their help, older people and people with chronic disease can realise the capacity and self-confidence necessary to live an independent and happy life.
