Beware this Covid-19 Text Scam

This is one of the increasing number of Covid-19 scams, highlighted yesterday by RTE's Health Correspondent Fergal Bowers, writes Brian Byrne.

If you do get such a text, DO NOT click on the link, but delete the text. Also, DO NOT forward the text to anyone.

Fergal Bowers emphasises that this is NOT how the HSE would get in touch with anyone who may have been a close contact with a confirmed Covid-19 case.
