Drama Dynamics play to help battle breast cancer

The Drama Dynamics play currently in rehearsal will be staged to raise funds for breast cancer research, writes Brian Byrne.

The Adult Class of Evelyn O'Sullivan's school of speech and drama is working well towards the production, currently scheduled for Friday and Saturday 15/16 May.

"The motif of the play is sunflowers," Evelyn told the Diary yesterday, "so we will have sunflower seeds plus seedlings for sale, marmalade and knitted sunflowers courtesy of the Suas knitting group in Kilcullen and private individuals, and cherry buns at the interval. All proceeds once expenses are covered will go towards the charity."

A presentation by the Drama Dynamics Drama Group of Twelve Angry Jurors last May was another tour de force on the stage of Kilcullen's Town Hall Theatre.
