Clodagh will have happy Scoil Bhride class

Clodagh and her class earlier this week.
There will be a very happy 1st Class in Scoil Bhride tomorrow following the win today by Galway camogie club Sarsfields in the AIB Senior Club Camogie All Ireland Final, writes Brian Byrne.

As reported here on Friday, their teacher Clodagh McGrath and three of her sisters were playing today in Croke Park on the Sarsfields team against favourites Derry-based Slaughtneil.

Clodagh told the Diary then that Sarsfields were going in against a 'very strong' team as 'underdogs'. But the final score in Croker today was 1-8 to 0-9, in favour of Sarsfields.

"No homework tonight, Miss?"
