Severe wind forecast for tomorrow

A Severe Weather Warning for wind has been issued by Met Eireann for Kildare, operable from from Saturday 29 February from 1pm and valid until 7pm.

Severe winds associated with Storm Jorge will reach mean speeds of 65-80km/h for a time on Saturday afternoon and early evening with gusts of 110-120km/h, possibly higher in very exposed areas.

The severity is Orange and relates to all of Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.
