Green School reps to see Camphill recycling initiative
A talk on recycling is to be given in the Bridge Camphill Community on Tuesday next 3 March to the Green School committees of Scoil Bhride, CPC, and Jonathan Swift NS in Dunlavin, writes Brian Byrne.
It will be given from 10.30am by Dara Wyer, Environmental Education Officer with Kildare County Council, and will be followed by a tour of the Community's farm and gardens, and view their new environmental banners.
These banners have been made by members of the Kilcullen and Grangebeg Camphill communities with a special interest in art and the environment.
The banners are made of recycled materials and are being mounted around the entrance to the Nature Trail in Kilcullen.
The existing recycling facilities at the Camphill communities have been upgraded, and extra pictograms are being used to make it more clear which items go into which bin.
