Cheque for Community Centre from Drama Group

A cheque for €1,000 has been presented to Kilcullen Community Centre by Kilcullen Drama Group to help with the cost of a toilet facility for less abled people.

The money is the proceeds of the Gala Night of 'The Seafarer', performed by the Drama Group last November.

Centre treasurer Darragh Fitzgerald thanked the cast and crew via Nessa Dunlea, who handed over the cheque on behalf of the group.

The estimated cost of the toilet facility, including a shower, is €15,000. A grant for €6,000 has already been secured, and work is expected to start in the coming weeks.
