Ballyshannon urges 'let candidates know priority on quarry fight'
The Ballyshannon Action Group is encouraging people in the area to bring up the Kilsaran plans for more quarrying with all election candidates on the doorsteps, writes Brian Byrne.
The Group says it has 'great support' from local representatives in the fight against the appeal by Kilsaran to the refusal of planning permission for their Racefield property. "But let's make sure that all know it is a priority for voters," the Group says in an email to its supporters.
Meanwhile, there will be a collection clinic for new observations on the appeal in Ballyshannon Hall on Saturday next, 25 January, from 2pm-5pm.
Those making written observations can call in with them, for advice and to leave them for bulk delivery to An Bord Pleanala.
