CPR training for first responders on Sunday

The first training session for those interested in CPR and the new unit of Kilcullen Community First Responders will be held on Sunday, in Scoil Bhride, writes Brian Byrne. It will run from 10am-5pm.

Anyone interested in taking part, in addition to those already signed up, should contact Nichola Kennedy, chair of the KCFR committee, at (045) 484643, as there has to be a ratio kept between instructors and trainees.

At the recent information meeting on Community First Responder it was emphasised that not everyone training with the group needs to be an on-call responder. Anyone who wants to simply learn first responder techniques and skills is welcome to join.
