Valley bins to be replaced

Kildare County Council is to replace the bins in The Valley Park, writes Brian Byrne.

This follows a request from Kilcullen Community Action, which maintains the park on behalf of the community, and empties the existing bins regularly.

The bins needing replacement are about 30 years old, and are badly bent in some cases, making it difficult to remove and replace the plastic bags.

At a KCA meeting in August, Noel Clare commented that the bins 'are well used'.
