Kilcullen improves score in 2019 Tidy Towns

Kilcullen has come third in its category in the Kildare results of the National Tidy Towns 2019, writes Brian Byrne.

With 313 marks, the town was behind Kill (334) and Rathangan (326).

It’s a significant improvement for Kilcullen over last year’s marks of 305.

The results were announced at a ceremony in The Helix centre in Dublin this morning.

Maynooth achieved the highest marks in the county with 337.

Glaslough in Co Monaghan is the overall winner with 346 marks.
