Crean's Place supports Global Climate Strike
The strike has been called by climate activist Greta Thunberg, and is being organised while political and business leaders, including an Irish delegation, go to New York for a United Nations Summit Climate Action Summit.
At home, there are rallies planned for many localities, including Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway cities as well as Drogheda, Tralee, Kenmare, Ennis, Navan and Dundalk.
Schools, businesses, and community organisations are being encouraged to take part in the day in some visible form.
