Some people just don't get it, do they? writes Brian Byrne. This was the sight when I went to put some bottles into the recycle bins at the cattle mart car park.

Look guys, it's really very simple. I'll put it in pictures, make it clear.

First, bring your box of bottles in your car to the recycle area. Then dispose of the bottles according to colour.

Second, return the empty carton to the boot of your car.

Third, when you get home, dispose of the cardboard box in your own recycle bin.
