Great heritage performance in Library
It was a night of nostalgia, music and memories in Kilcullen Library last night, writes Noel Clare, with the story of Irish emigration since famine times being told through story and song, in what turned out to be a most enjoyable evening.
A capacity crowd turned out for the event which was led by Frank Morrow, accompanied in song and music by Joe Kelly, Jeremy Burke, Maurice O’Mahony, Gerry O’Donoghue, Francie O'Brien, Niamh Murray and Dave Touhy.
It was introduced by Librarian Julie O’Donoghue and was part of Kilcullen’s contribution to National Heritage Week. (Photos: Noel Clare.)
