GAA Senior Ladies against Naas on Saturday
Our Senior Ladies have their Intermediate Championship Semi-Final at home against old rivals Naas this Saturday evening in Kilcullen, with throw in at 8pm, writes Adam Timmons.
The two teams met earlier in the group stages of the championship a couple of months ago with the Rags coming out on top in a very competitive game. The teams also met last season in the Division 3 final with Naas edging the game by a point so this is shaping up to be another hotly contested game!!
The girls have been training extremely hard the last few weeks, gearing up with this game in mind. They have also had a few challenge games to prepare for this game against strong opposition from outside the county.
It’s not often you get a home semi-final at this level, so let’s make sure that we have a huge home crowd to cheer on the girls and make our home advantage count, wear your club colours and make sure to bring the noise!!
This team deserves every bit of support for their commitment and effort over the past few months so let’s make sure that we as a club recognise that, because you can be sure Naas will bring a large and vocal travelling support as they always do too!
Come on the Rags!!
2019 Panel: Aoife Molyneaux, Karen Bell, Eimear McBride (Captain), Clare Kelly, Kate Timmons, Claire Mulrennan, BronĂ¡ Dooley, Molly Aspell, Katie Willis, Sally Murphy, Jayne Peacocke (Vice-Captain), Sydney Sheridan, Clare Kelly, Nanci Murphy, Ruth Birchall, Jane O’Toole, Amy Moran, Grace Rogers, Eleanor Traynor, Avril Glendon, Sarah Doherty, Emma Keane, Emily Kelly, Katelyn Hegarty-Kelly, Jill O’Toole, Eabha Devenney, and Jenna Pembroke.
