CPC Leaving Certers 'should all be proud'

Cross and Passion College are 'very pleased' with the results of the 2019 Leaving Certificate in the school, which were released today, writes Brian Byrne.

We picture here some of the 'early birds' among those who came in to collect their results in person instead of waiting for the online release at 10am.

Most of them hadn't got around to actually opening their results when the Diary caught up with them, but retiring Principal Catherine Moynihan said they 'should all be proud' of what they had achieved.

In line with the national trend, Ms Moynihan said there had been a 'huge take-up' of students doing higher level papers. Some 104 CPC pupils sat this year's Leaving Cert.

The first CAO offers will me made later in the week.

It is a long time since your editor was in this space, but huge congratulations to each and every one.
