Brush to headline upcoming Jimmy Aspell Night

The second Jimmy Aspell Night in The Spout since he died will again be headlined by his longtime friend Brush Shiels at the end of September, writes Brian Byrne.

The event on 27 September will gather funds for the Irish Cancer Society, the cancer care charity for which Jimmy campaigned tirelessly from after his own diagnosis of cancer right up to his passing in January of last year.

Once again, there’s a growing list of local and national musicians who’ll be coming along to do what he would have wanted best in his memory, help people and families affected by a diagnosis of cancer.
