Free bike assessment and repair

A mobile bicycle repair workshop will operate in Newbridge this Friday as part of National Bike Week.

Kildare County Council is sponsoring the workshop, which will allow bike users to bring their bicycles for assessment and repair for free.

The workshop will be outside Newbridge Garda Station on Friday from 10am to 12.30pm.

According to the Council's Road Safety, Cycling and Sustainable Transport Officer, Declan Keogh, the initiative will 'help people to have their bicycles fit for purpose so they can cycle safely'.
