Faraway charity morning for Crumlin Hospital

Members of the Irish Defence Forces 114th Infantry Battalion in Lebanon recently held a charity 5K in aid of Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, writes Brian Byrne.

More than $1,500 was raised for what the Battalion members agree is a fabulous hospital.

Gerard Fogarty from Kilcullen was one of the participants, and he's the one on the left holding the sign. He's a Company Quarter Master Sergeant.
