Moat events for Bealtaine Festival coming week
A number of events at the Moat Theatre in Naas will help celebrate the Age & Opportunity Bealtaine Festival 2019, writes Aoife Brennan.
These include a free screening of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the Hollywood classic starring Jane Russell and Marlyn Monroe, on Monday 27 May at 8pm. Tickets can be had at the door or by booking at 045 883030.
There's a free Creative Journal Group session on Tuesday 28 May from 12 noon to 1pm, to experience how to express thoughts, stories, and pass them on to family. This is sponsored by Artbeat.ie.
On Thursday evening at 7.30pm there's the joint performance from Libyan singer-songwriter Farrah Elle and the Kilcock Men's Shed Choir. Tickets are €15/12 – call 045 883030 or book online at MoatTheatre.com. This is supported by Kildare County Council.
