Halverstown NS celebration reunion

A reminder that St Joseph's Halverstown NS will be holding a 60th anniversary reunion tomorrow, Saturday 8th June, in the school, writes principal David Dempsey.

The event will start at 11am with all past and present families/staff/board of management welcome to attend. There will be refreshments, music and also children's entertainment as people will get the chance to tell old tales of hiding in the farmer's field and dodging homework.

We will be burying our time capsule on the day for future Halverstown generations to find as well! Our school is very proud of its heritage and history but most importantly of its people. We would love to have as many people as possible come on the day and to show you what's new (and not so new!) in the school.
