Acoustic Picnic 5 goes outdoors

Acoustic Picnic, founded and curated by Roy Thompson, takes to the great outdoors for its fifth incarnation on Sunday 23 June, writes Gerry O'Donoghue.

In a major change, Acoustic Picnic 5 will be held on the Farm and Nature Trail at the Bridge Community in Kilcullen, starting at 2pm.

With music, song, poetry and storytelling around every corner, families are encouraged to take part in the Community Picnic and enjoy a great day by the Liffey. Sunshine is guaranteed!

There will be music to suit every taste and instead of an admission charge, supporters are encouraged to make a donation in support of Maintain Hope to help our children in Kenya.

We are so grateful to The Camphill Bridge Community for opening their gates and hearts to us and for giving us such a wonderful setting for our Community Picnic.

The full lineup of performers will be published in the weeks leading up to the event.
