Stall bookings open for Easter Market

The date for this year's Easter Market is Saturday 13 April, and the organisers are now open for booking for stalls, writes Brian Byrne.

It will be the second such event following on from the inaugural one last year.

With a number of local businesses already signed up to provide a range of attractions, there's still opportunities for local crafters and gifts suppliers to get involved.

Already on the list are Armelles Bakery, Jane Russell Sausages, Nolan’s Butchers, Maria Barton Fused Glass, Gilltown Preserves, Sweet Serenity, Catherine Mulrennan Flowers, Eoin Houlihan Spring Plants, Dee Horan’s Home Baking and delicious coffee from Paul at The River Cafe

As the programme for the day is developed, one of the activities already planned is an Easter Egg Hunt for children, which will incorporate the new Fairy Trail due to open on Saturday next.
