Fianna Fail leader in Kilcullen tomorrow
The Fianna Fail leader, Micheal Martin TD, will be visiting Kilcullen tomorrow morning, and will include a walk around the town and a meet and greet with residents and businesses, writes Brian Byrne.
Accompanied by Deputy Fiona O'Loughlin and Antoinette Buckley, the party's local candidate for the Newbridge Local Electoral Area in the coming elections, the walkabout will begin at the bridge, marking Kilcullen Bridge's 700th anniversary year.
Conroy Park is also on the itinerary, reflecting the community activism heritage of Antoinette's late grandmother, Mary Conroy, for whom the estate is named. She is remembered for an amazing amount of community and voluntary work in the 1950s/1960s.
Deputy Martin is scheduled to arrive at approximately 10.15am.
