Plaque unveiled in The Valley

There was a good turn out in The Valley this morning for the unveiling of the plaque commemorating the work done by Gerry Tyrrell in building the stone surround of the Spout in 2000, writes Noel Clare.

The plaque also remembers Gerry’s late son Mark. The unveiling was carried out by Kay Tyrrell, Gerry’s wife, with the assistance of members of their family.

The commemorative plaque was organised by Jim Collins before he passed away. Jim’s family were also represented at the event.
