Gouldings Hardware is highly commended in awards

Kilcullen’s Pat Goulding has won a Highly Commended status in the third annual Expert Hardware Awards for his hardware store in Naas, writes Brian Byrne.

Pat and his family have operated their store for almost 40 years, and the award was presented by rugby pundit and ambassador for the Expert Hardware brand Brent Pope.

The awards recognise excellence in the retail hardware sector and are organised by the group which operates for the interests of the privately owned hardware and DIY sector in Ireland.

In 2013, Pat was made a special presentation by Kilcullen Credit Union for 29 years' service to the CU.
