Generous response to Miscellany
Yesterday's Miscellany on Sunday raised a very generous €3,600 for Fr John Bermingham's mission in Mozambique, writes Brian Byrne.
The Bermingham home was literally packed with performers and those who came along to enjoy the occasion, which for many represents the official start to Christmas in Kilcullen.
"How privileged we are to live amidst such talent, generosity and good-humoured support," Phena Bermingham said last evening.
The Diary could only stay a short time, so the photos are not truly representative of all that was going on. But well done to all concerned.
