Full house and special atmosphere for An Tearmann's Christmas cheer
It was the first time I remember An Tearmann's pre-Christmas Bell Ringing event being in the evening, but that didn't take away from it in any way, writes Brian Byrne.
Jo and her staff provided mince pies and mulled wine for all (tea for those who don't do the other warm stuff), and the bell-ringers of Camphill did their usual very entertaining and Christmasy thing.
It was a full house, as it usually is on the Christmas Eve mornings when this event usually takes place.
But because it was night-time, there was a very special atmosphere tonight. Many thanks to all at Bridge Camphill for their input to another Kilcullen Christmas.
(The Diary couldn't really get in position to picture the ringers, but we hope our pictures tell some of the appreciation story of the evening.)
