Aoife's New Year's Eve Disco for Liver Transplant Unit

A New Year's Eve Disco in Walls of The Priory, Kilgowan, will raise funds for the Liver Transplant Unit in St Vincent's Hospital, writes Brian Byrne.

It is being organised by Aoife Sully, who was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis at the age of 11 and was this year found to have a severe cirrhosis of the liver.

Thomas Wall has sponsored a €500 Hamper for a draw at the New Year's Eve event, and a GoFundMe page set up by Aoife just yesterday has already achieved €700 of her €1,000 target due to the generosity of many local people.

Everyone is welcome to the event, and Walls will serve finger food for all.
