Credit Union Schools Poster Competition results

The Kilcullen and Narraghmore winners of the 2018 Kildare Credit Union Schools Poster Competition were presented with their prizes last night in the Kilcullen office, writes Brian Byrne.

In the 7 and Under category for the Kilcullen schools, 1st was Louisa Donnelly (Scoil Bhride), 2nd Casey O'Gorman (Scoil Bhride) and 3rd Lena Dunne (Scoil Bhride). Adam Buckley (Scoil Bhride) was Highly Commended.

The Kilcullen schools 8-10 years was won by Abbey Murphy (Scoil Bhride), 2nd Ryan McLarnon (Scoil Bhride) and 3rd Mae Cowper Gray (Scoil Bhride). Luke Duffy received Highly Commended.

In the 11-13 years category, Eleanor Steed of St Joseph's NS Halverstown took first place, followed by Anna Williams (Scoil Bhride), and Della Cowper Gray (Scoil Bhride), with Leah Keogh (Scoil Bhride) receiving a Highly Commended.

In the Narraghmore area, the 7 Years and Under category was won by Evelyn Juseva (St Laurence's NS), followed by Katie Stack (St Columcille's NS) and JJ Ward (St Laurence's NS). Maedbh Flanagan received a Highly Commended and Katelyn O'Brien won a Special category, both from Scoil Ide Naofa NS.

The Narraghmore 8-10 Years category saw Iulia Sirbu (St Laurence's NS) taking first place, from Aisling Coogan (St Laurence's NS) and Ailbhe Cashin (Scoil Ide Naofa NS). John William Grufferty (Scoil Ide Naofa NS) was Highly Commended and Sarah Ryan (Ballyshannon NS) received the Special Category.

The 11-13 Years category had Karina Fleming (Scoil Ide Naofa NS) in first place from Cara Flynn (Scoil Ide Naofa NS) and Katie Horan (St Columcille's NS). Mia Dunning (Ballyshannon NS) and Noah Doyle (Scoil Ide Naofa NS) were both Highly Commended.
