Newbridge band for Christmas Market

The Newbridge Patrician Children's Brass and Pipe Band will be among the music groups performing at the Kilcullen Christmas Market on 8 December, writes Antoinette Buckley of the Christmas Market Committee. Lorna Brophy, one of the Christmas Market organisers, secured the amazing talented band for the event.

There's plenty of other entertainment lined up for the market, including for children who can visit Santa at The Heritage Centre, with presents sponsored by Berneys Chemist.

Santa's visitors can be photographed with him too, in a service provided by local photographer Conor Williams.

Drama Dynamics will present a performance of Elf at 12,30pm, 2pm, and 3.30pm, and DJ Georgia will keep the music going through the afternoon. Heather will provide face painting.

There are more than 25 stalls booked, including five selling food.
