Advent and Christmas events in church

A Gregorian Latin Mass will be celebrated as a special liturgical event for Advent in Kilcullen Parish Church.

It will be held on Saturday 15 December, at 6.30pm.

Music will be by the Gormanstown Choir, directed by Dorly O'Sullivan, with organ played by the Parish Organ Scholar Ella Fallon and Peter Moloney.

And a Family Carol Service of nine lessons and carols will be held in the church on Wednesday 19 December, at 8pm.

This will be an ecumenical service featuring the Gormanstown Choir, Camphill Bell Ringers, Scoil Bhride Choir, the Students from St Patrick's School in Newbridge, and flautist Gese Mucke. Again the organ will be played by Ella Fallon and Peter Moloney.

Gerry O'Sullivan will be Master of Ceremonies and the prayer leaders will be Fr Niall Mackey and Reverend Tim Wright.
