Woodbine hosts Chaos Theatre Podcast
In the first of their events for the inaugural Irish Book Week, Woodbine Books hosted a recording of the Chaos Theatre Podcast, writes Brian Byrne, during which presenters Kelsey Connolly and Daire Behan discussed with Daire's sister Saoirse Behan the popularity of graphic novels for young readers.
Kelsey also reviewed a number of children's illustrated books, and discussed with Daire the importance of illustration in moving a story along.
(We'll be doing a more in depth piece on the group next week, as an example of how young people are taking advantage of today's communications technology to build and entertain their own audiences.)
