The passing of Pat Canny
The Diary has learned of the death of Patrick (Pat) Canny, The Moorings, Kilcullen, and Ballinlough, Cork, in the tender care of the staff of Curragh Lawns Nursing Home.
He is sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, daughters Cliodhna, Gráinne, Sorcha and Eilís, sister Bernice, sons-in-law Stephen, PJ and Tony, grandchildren Roisín, Osgar, Fionnán, Oisín, Ruadhan, Bría and Laoch, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Pat is reposing at the George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, on Friday from 5.30pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal will be on Saturday morning at 10.30am to arrive at the Church of The Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation in Newland's Cross Crematorium.
