Planned power cuts postponed
ESB Networks says the postponement is due to the forecast of bad weather.
While local businesses had criticised the planned outage over non-consultation with them by ESB Networks, this latest news may not be greeted with enthusiasm by all, as many will have made arrangements, including closure and re-rostering of staff in some cases.
A spokesman for ESB Networks will be on KFM's Kildare Today programme in the morning, and local woman Antoinette Buckley has also been asked to speak about the local reaction.
