New Garda appeal on Calverstown burglary
Gardai have issued another appeal for any information on an aggravated burglary in Calverstown last week, writes Brian Byrne.
The crime occurred at around 9pm on Tuesday 2 October, when the home of a man who had just let his dog out for a walk was set upon by two men wearing balaclavas.
They locked him in his bathroom and searched the house, leaving with a sum of money. It was described as 'traumatic' by Sgt Mary Mulroe on KFM radio this morning.
She asked that anyone who may have seen people knocking on doors in the area during the day to contact An Garda, at 045 884300 in Naas or at Kilcullen Garda Station.
