And it may be no coincidence that the greater concentrations of them will be seen congregating at some of the town's best-known watering holes. Indeed, they may well be circulating between them, which will make for interesting viewing anywhere on Main Street — with the bridge likely to be an especially good vantage point.
The Spout is having a 'Spooktacular' Bank Holiday Weekend, inviting everyone to enjoy costumes and cocktails. On Saturday night they have Barley & The Grape Rag, while Sunday will feature a Costume Party with Badge.
The Hideout has a Fancy Dress Party on Sunday night, with a DJ and spot prizes. There will be prizes for Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Lady, and Best Dressed Couple. Frighting starts at 9.30pm.
O'Connell's Bar is also having its Fancy Dress Party on Sunday, with DJ Curly from 10pm and prizes for best costumes.
And McTernans is also in party mode on the same Sunday night, with music by DJ John from 9.30 onwards, Halloween Jelly Shots, and a bottle of Champagne prize for the Best Halloween Outfit.
It is quite likely that there will be circulation between the pubs by some in order to try and win multiple prizes?
