A Reminder: Meitheal of Memories tonight

A memory from Mongrel Park.

Do you have any of the following items — photos of the Big Tree? Pictures from the Carnival? Sergeant Heavey and his bicycle? The local hunt or Pony Club?

Tickets or programmes from various local sporting fixtures or entertainments? Letters, bills, maps, invoices from local areas and businesses? Photos of summer parties in your estate? Community Games memorabilia? Or anything else you think worthwhile.

If so, bring them along to the Town Hall, tonight, Thursday 4 October at 8 o'clock where we will photograph/record them for our heritage project Meitheal of Memories. They will be returned immediately.

This collaborative project aims to raise awareness of and preserve the richness and diversity of our community life in Kilcullen. We hope to share our heritage story in a new and inclusive way and share the responsibility of identifying and respecting what is valuable, in every sense of the word, and to pass this on to future generations.
