Another names game
Yet another photograph from the past, provided by Patricia Byrne.
This looks like a Capers team from Nicholastown? Let's play the names game again ... some are quite obvious, but others may not be whom they seem.
UPDATE: Mary Orford is first in, with the suggestion it might be a McTernans Capers Show ... and that makes a lot of sense. Anything more?
MORE: Angela Keogh Murray says it's McTernans Capers too, and names include Ambrose O'Connell, Michael Lambe, J McGarr, Triona Keogh, Sean Power, Phil McGrath, Noel Nugent, Bill Dowling, Dan Sullivan, and Nick Aulsberry.
MORE AGAIN: Shane McGrath confirms that it was McTernans' Capers Team, they won the Pub part of the competition that year. "My dad, front left, sang 'My Old Man's a Dustman'. Back row, after the priest, is Angela Keogh (my Mam), Una Keogh, her brother Sean Keogh and his wife, Mary Keogh. Paddy O'Leary on the extreme left. Fergal Sloane and Billy Dowling there too."
(Also, don't forget the Meitheal of Memories event tomorrow night in the Town Hall ... bring your memorabilia along and share some stories.)
