CPC teacher is International Miss Macra 2018

She is Josephine O'Neill, who hails from Maddoxtown, Co Kilkenny. She was awarded the title at the 47th International Miss Macra Festival, held in Thurles over the weekend.
Josephine teaches Irish and Home Economics at CPC.
She is a member of Callan Macra, and has been very involved in the organisation at both club and county level.
Runners-up were Trisha Delahunty, of Seandún Macra in Co Cork, and Rebecca Brunt of Fermanagh.
