Cemetery Sunday on 9 September

Cemetery Sunday will be held on Sunday week next, 9 September, writes Brian Byrne.

There will be prayers and a blessing of the graves at 3pm in New Abbey, and a blessing followed by a mass in St Brigid's Cemetery at 4pm.

The Cemetery Committee has been working hard to get the two resting places in good shape for the occasion.
