Murphy Surveys ups its technology
Kilcullen based Murphy Surveys is the first company of its kind in Ireland and Britain to invest in a new technology that will double the speed of analysing survey results, writes Brian Byrne.
The Leica RTC360 is the world's first 3D laser scanner that automatically pre-registers data in the field, and saves later processing time. It was only launched this week at trade show HxGN Live.
Colin Murphy, a director of Murphy Surveys, says it will be a 'game-changer' for the company's service offering to its clients, and will be available later this month.
Pictured top at the Leica RTC360 UK launch event are James Whitworth, Sales Director Leica Geosystems; Matthieu Marsault, Laser Scanning Manager Murphy Surveys; Colin Murphy, Director Murphy Surveys.
